PACE at COP27: Circularity for Climate

PACE has organised two events at COP27 exploring key topics emerging from our new paper; the importance of circularity for the clean energy transition, and linking circular economy targets to climate impacts. Join us.

As the global public-private leadership platform that supports doubling global circularity to advance climate-neutral and inclusive economies, PACE is taking part in the 2022 UN Climate Change Conference (COP27) in Egypt.

With the newly released paper 'Circular Economy as a Climate Strategy'which details how circular strategies can reduce emissions, support the clean energy transition and enhance climate change adaptation with nine calls-to-action, PACE has organised two events to discuss this in depth with key stakeholders:

 

How a Circular Economy Can Support the Clean Energy Transition

November 10 - 17:30 - 18:30 (EET) Blue zone: Just Transition Pavilion

This session focuses on what is needed to incorporate circularity into the clean energy sector, and how this can be enabled through a just transition. Watch the session. 

 

Linking Circular Economy Targets to Climate Impacts: Guidance for Governments and Businesses

November 17 - 14:30 - 15:30 (EET) Blue zone: Business Pavilion

This session will focus on public and private circular economy metrics related to climate impact and announce a corporate target-setting opportunity. Watch the session.
