Watch to find out in this session with the International Labour Organization discussing how the workforce is a key lever for circular transformation with concrete ways to advance decent work in the circular economy, sharing successful initiatives in Africa and beyond. 

 

Circular Food Systems for Rwanda - Opportunities for Impact8 December 2022, 15:00 to 16:00 CET

What’s the role of SMEs in driving the transition to a circular economy for food, and what are the policy barriers to be overcome?
Find out in this event by WRI Africa and PACE revealing research insights into the potential for a circular food system for Rwanda.

Circular economy for climate and nature 6 December 2022, 12:00-13:10 CAT

Hosted by the African Development Bank in collaboration with PACE, this session discussed how the circular economy can help reach climate and biodiversity targets in Africa and the importance of a just transition, with key takeaways from COP27. WRI’s Managing Director for Africa and Global Partnership, Wanjira Mathai, moderated the session with insights from our research Circular Economy as a Climate Strategy.

 


Partnerships for a global circular economy 7 December, 09:15-10:30 CAT

PACE's Exectutive Director, Ramona Liberoff, joined this important discussion on the role of partnership platforms in facilitating greater regional and global collaboration to support countries with peer-to-peer learning, innovation and knowledge sharing, as well as to develop impactful circular economy policies.
